At the 2007 Maryland State Fair the Maryland Horse Industry Board featured a booth in the Farm and Garden Building. Visitors to the booth were invited to enter a coloring contest. Entries were divided by age groups of: 0-6 years, 7-13 years, 14-17 years, and 18 and up.

Prizes for the winners are:

Ages 0-6, 2 free riding lessons near the entrants home;

Ages 7-13, 2 free riding lessons near the entrants home (or) 2 tickets to Medieval Times in Maryland;

Ages 14-17, 2 free riding lessons near the entrants home (or) 2 tickets to Medieval Times in Maryland; and for

Ages 18 and up, 2 VIP tickets to the Maryland Million.
