Local and State government & university programs in Application Submissions · All items must be submitted at the time of application. · Only eligible projects with completed applications postmarked by the deadline date will be considered. · Application package should utilize the enclosed form. Please use the notation "N/A" if a question is not applicable to your project. If downloading this form from the web site, please do not exceed the number of words indicated in a section, and maintain the order and format of questionnaire. Submit application on 8 1/2" x 11" white paper. If you have additional materials for the review committee's consideration, please attach it at the end of the application. Submit 8 copies of your application (1 original with original signatures, and 7 copies of entire package). · Faxed and e-mailed applications will not be accepted. Mailing Address: Maryland Horse Industry Board Application Review Process Applications will be screened for compliance with minimum thresholds listed above. Applications meeting minimum thresholds will be forwarded to a review committee for evaluation. Applications not accepted will be returned by mail, with an explanatory note. Qualifying applications will be reviewed for: · Value to the horse industry · Size and scope of activity · Financial need · Quality of written presentation The review committee may recommend a grant less than the requested amount.
